Curriculum planning
In accordance with children's various stages of development in the body, the heart, the spirit and the mind, we design a balanced, child-oriented curriculum that incorporates games and themes to foster children's growth with spiral progression.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Based on theory and being child focus, we integrate various teaching approaches to design diversified activities; teaching in themes and small groups with music, physical activities, projects and seminars to boost children's learning initiative and develop their passion for learning and intelligence.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Through observatory assessments, we create the Child's developing Portfolio for fomative learning assessment of a child's learning experience. We also use Learning Assessment to monitor children's development in the domains of Physical fitness and health , Language, Early childhood mathematics, Natural and living,Self and society, as well as Arts and creativity.
School Characteristics
School vision and mission
Through Christian education, we nurture students in an ideal campus environment to attain development in the six domains, namely ethics, intellect, physique, social skills, aesthetics and spiritual education. We lay the foundation for life-long learning and we strive to achieve our mission of providing holistic education, which is complemented with our "Annual Programs" such as teacher training, Parents' seminars, children's learning and other activities.
Support to students
Apart from organizing diversified activities regularly for new student adaptation, we also pay attention to students' civil education. We foster love and care from childhood and promote the culture to care about the community. We believe that each student is unique, so we arrange professional counselling and assist students with learning differeces when it is needed.
