Curriculum planning
In the spirit of being "Child-Centered” and putting “Children First", we construct an adequate, balanced, spiral curriculum with multiple learning activities to cater to children's interests, abilities and needs.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Theme-based Teaching Approach: we promote children’s development in knowledge, skills and attitudes through activities, explorations and life experiences. Bi-Literacy and Tri-Lingualism: we create an effective language environment by employing native teachers and mainland teachers, so that children are exposed to different languages. Moral Education: we cultivate children's virtues of being filial and respectful to their parents and teachers and loving others, encourage them to communicate and share with others, and help them establish the values of self-esteem, self-confidence and positivity.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Our teachers analyze and assess children's development capability and performance by using continuous observation records through teaching program observations, records, continuous observation assessment, children's work viewing, etc.
